Jani Wase Vinick graduated from Duke University in 1988 and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1992, Order of the Coif. She was a Legal Writing Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and, upon graduating from law school, she received an award from the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in recognition of the pro bono work that she did in the field of family law as a law student. Ms. Vinick has been admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey since January 1993 and in the State of New York since February 1994. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and for the District of New Jersey.

After law school, Ms. Vinick clerked for the Hon. Phyllis W. Beck, Appellate Judge in the Superior Court of the State of Pennsylvania. After her clerkship, she worked for Anderson Kill Olick & Oshinsky and then Smith Campbell & Paduano, both in New York City, practicing civil litigation. Ms. Vinick has been an Associate at Haber Silver & Simpson since September 2006.

Ms. Vinick is a member of the Family Law Section of New Jersey State Bar Association and her current practice is primarily in the area of family law including divorce, custody, visitation and domestic violence. Other areas of her practice include litigation of commercial, real estate, and landlord/tenant matters.

Ms. Vinick has a Masters Degree in Social Work from New York University and has experience as a clinical social worker doing family, child and individual therapy.

Ms. Vinick lives in Chatham, New Jersey with her husband, two daughters and yellow lab.
